ABS/Traction Control Lights

Hello Everyone,

I hope you guys can help. Today while I was driving home the ABS light and the traction control light are stuck on. I've stopped and turned off the car a few times, and they are still on. Anyone have any input, or shall I call the dealer and get it serviced.

Any input appreciated, Thank you.

Try unhooking the battery for about 30 minutes to see if that clears them. If not I wouldn't hesitate contacting the dealer. Better safe than sorry when it deals with the braking system.

Thanks for the reply bro, I tried disconnecting the battery and it's a no go. Nothing like having to bring the 'Stang back to the stealership with less then 2,000 miles on it. It's just going to be a bitch putting some of the stock equipment back on and reflashing. When it rains it pours.

Had same issue in my '07. Took it to the dealer and they had to replace the master cylinder - the fluid level sensing unit was defective. Better safe than sorry...
