It worked fine a month and a haf ago when I turned it on to run the condenser. I went to do the same today and only hot air. The only thing I have done is the HCI swap but I dont think I forgot anything related to the ac. whats the deal? What should I check. I dont think its out of Refrigerant because it ran ice cold a month and half ago when I truned it on.

Go to an autoparts store and purchase a refrigerant gauge that tells ya how much pressure you have in the lines. Only like 10 bucks.

When my A/C died I noticed the compressor would turn on for a few seconds and then turn off. Turned out to be a A/C pressure switch ($16 @ Autozone). Its on the black can mounted on the passenger side of the firewall.

while were on the topic of broken a/c parts.....

i have a leaking a/c line. the shop says its 230 for a new line so ive been driving aroung w/o a/c. now summmer is coming and its getting pretty hot. the line i got now has this little tiny hole, couldnt i just get someone who workes with allumnum and make them weld a lil patch or something on it? what else cold i do?
