Converted to 134a last summer. Did it proper: condensor, compressor, evap flush. All new o-rings, dryer. Filled with 8oz PAG. Was never happy with performance. I don't think the person who pulled the vacuum did it long enough. I also think he overfilled it.

Had system emptied at shop. Pulled vacuum for 1 hr. Filled system. Here are my measurements.

Ambient is 90F.

At idle:

Low = 35psi
High = 200psi
Vent = 52F

At 2000rpm:

Low = 24psi
High = 250psi
Vent = 41F

What do you guys think? I put in just shy of 2.5 cans (~30 oz). Couldn't really measure last can.

How does performance look? Under/over full...just right?

Thanks.

The 41 degrees at the vent looks pretty good. The alternate fix is to use the condenser from a 94-95 Mustang since it has more fins per inch. I cannot say if it is a bolt up or not, but it is supposed to fit.

That looks great to me. Mine doesn't get lower than 44º after the same conversion, however being an early fox, mine is an expansion valve system, not an orifice tube/cycling compressor system.
