Hey everybody. My A/C stopped blowing cold so I figured I would just add some r-134 blah blah. Eventually I realized my compresser is not kicking on. Maybe do to the lack of pressure in the system. But I am using this guide at http://renaxgade.net/95ac.pdf to troubleshoot.
I got to Step 6 where you test the dark blue/yellow wire at the pressure cut off switch by the air box/CAI. The wire did not have any power with the key in RUN position and the AC on max. The pink/blue wire on the connecter has voltage though. So I started ripping the wire loom out and found it runs into the fender behind the air box/CAI but I can seem to find out where the dark blue/yellow wire goes after that. Cause the guide says I should replace the wire.
So, just wondering if anybody else has had this problem. I had voltage at the other switch on the passenger side firewall and at the connecter that goes into the clutch itself. So I guess the dark blue/yellow wire may be the culprit? I haven't had the chance to test the pressure in the system to see if its around 50 cause I lost my valve, but I will get one from a friend within the hour.
Thanks.
