AC Vents

Gonna remove the middle AC vents and put a couple gauges there...what's the best way to get the vents out? Was working on it a little yesterday and noticed they're in there pretty good

simply pull out the two vents they are held by two tabs on each end, then GENTLY pull the tabs out (on bottom and top) so you can remove the vent cage. I had to cut the vent tube (black part behind the dash) so I could install the gauges properly.

The actual vents themselves just pull out. The bezel that holds them in is held in place by clips. GENTLY pry the tabs with a flathead screwdriver and pull and it will come out.

So the vents tabs are on each side and the cage tabs are top and bottom?

yeah just pull the vents out (tabs are on each side) and the bezel (or cage) tabs are on the top and bottom, they break easily so go easy on them lol

Ok cool thanks...one of my gauges will be a water temp gauge...are those fairly easy to connect up?
