Yeah, I wonder about that. Ever find mustangs at salvage yards? all have front end damage. I just thought my brakes were bad. Seemed like other cars I drive, they stop quicker. And whats weird is the fact that with antilock brakes, why do they lock?

anti-lock brakes don't lock. They pulsate quikly, but do NOT lock. Hence the name, anti-lock brakes

I just wanna know whats wrong with you people. All I was questioning was the capability of a mustang stopping. Obviously antilock brakes are not suppost to lock, why else call them that. But is it possible that something could fail on a F.O.R.D.? Thats all I was asking. It feels like my brakes lock up in the rare times I need to slam on them. But instead of talking about that I get "Duh... ...why do they call em a mustang if it aint a horse?" "Duh, horse? I though a mustang was a type of plane?"

I was neglected and abused as a child. The only way I have to express myself is through internet forums. I'm sorry.

V6 Stang has no independent rear suspension... I bet that makes things even worse, than just being RWD.
