Wow. I didn't know she was doing that. My cousin' is a load master in the AF. When he got out of his tech school..... they gave him a choice between Dover, DE or Charleston, SC. He chose Charleston because it was a little closer to home ..... Stayed there for like a month or so..... then they made him go to Dover. He's been there for like 7 months now taking trips in and out of Spain and Iraq. Hope that doesn't happen to your G/F. She still in school? If so, I bet she'll love it. He did..... he went to several schools all over the country before he actually got stationed. Oklahoma.... Florida.... WA state (survival school)... all over the place.

She's in tech school now in Oklahoma, she should be in SC in Nov. and she wants me there with her. But like you just pointed out they can trade her to another off to another base that needs her. Me and cold weather can and will NEVER be an item lol, so SC is as far as I'm willing to go and she knows this. That's why I'm taken my sweet little time around the subject cause I'm waiting to see what they actually make her do. She went to boot camp in Tx, survival in WA, water training/survival in Pensacola, currenty in tech school in Ok, Home base is Charleston.

Hef that is correct c-17's is the plane she picked (to get a base closer to me and thought it would be funner) and load master wasn't her first pick but the first job availaible(sp?) so she went for it. So far she say's she's having fun except for being a rope.
