Where exactly do I pour the trans fluid in the shifter housing? The small hole with the red arrow, or in the shifter block with the black arrows? I poured some in there but doesn't look like its going through.
Just pour it into the entire square area. There is a drain hole under the shifter link that drains into the main case area. Pour slow because the drain hole is only 1/4" round. If the fluid doesn't go down, it's probably clogged. I want to say it's at the front of the shifter base area.
All you are doing is filling the shifter base area up so the fluid can drain into the main case.
