I just bought a Kirban AFPR. I need to know how to install it, and I need a guage. I'd like to have a cowl mount gauge, but a rail mount would be cheaper. Where do I mount the gauge, and how hard is it? Where is the cheapest gauge I could get?

The afpr mounts right where the old one comes out. Make sure to lube up the orings on the new regulator (use a little motor oil). You can get an autometer 1.5" Fuel pressure gauge and the fuel rail adapter and run it fight there off the schrader valve. Thats where I had mine, Worked great.

Would a cheap ebay fuel pressure gauge be ok to use? I've been thinking about a cowl mount, just for the "cool" factor, but as my DD i dunno if it would be a good idea

Just buy one from Jegs and don't forget the adapter for the schrader valve. Prolly 15 bux for the gauge and the adapter shipped.

This is from Steeda...These are fairly common, Jeg's / Summit should carry em..This one comes with the schrader adapter too..
I have a cowl gage...but its a few bucks to do it up...rail gage is way cheaper..
