How often do you adjust your cable? I seem to be adjusting mine about every 2-3 weeks, minor adjustments at that. So I was just wondering if something was possibly wrong with mine or is that adjustment frequency normal? Thanks, Phil

Do you mean that you adjust the cable under the car or do you use a firewall adjuster?

I have tried 3 types of fire wall adjuster, and each one required constant readjustment. So I put a stop between the dial adjuster and the base of the adjuster and on longer have to worry about it!

yeah, i like Jethro's question. the adjustment is probably loosening over time and you are playing a recursive adjustment game. knowing what you have would help (FWA or adjustable cable at the clutch fork).

good luck.

are the nuts locked on the cable at the fork? and does the FWA have a set screw?

Yep I was under the car the other day putting on the faky cat heatshields and checked that end of the cable and it was nice and tight. So I think it mat be in the FWA it has the locking ring or stop washer or however you want to call it. I'll have to check it again.
