Doesn’t have a set screw or anything that’s keeping it from extending fully? Most of the ones I have seen have over an inch of adjustment.

The firewall needs to be adjusted in, and it bottoms out before I get close...

When you take out the spacer in the previous post, that's going to free up the cable and then you'll probably need to adjust out to take up the slack it creates.

I " think " the cable is tight and it won't let it adjust out anymore...
