adjustable fuel pressure question

i reciently bought a BBK adjustable fuel pressure regulator and i have a quick question. Can i find out my fuel pressure by just putting a gauge on the schrader valve? I would think doing this method would give me the pressure going into the regulator, and not the pressure going out.

I really dont wanna get an autometer fuel gauge yet...

yes, you can use a fuel pressure guage at the schrader valve and this will tell you the pressure coming out of the regulator, this will enable you to adjust pressure. if you use a permanent guage like mine in pic. below ensure its liquid filled.

adjustable fuel pressure regulators are completely wortheless unless you get a tune to match your adjustments. The computer will otherwise compensate for your adjustments. Don't bother installing it until you get a tune.

If you are using the regulator to force the AFR away from stoich, then the adaptive will learn around the pressure change.

However, if there is mismatch in your fuel and intake system which is causing your base AFR's to stray from stoich, then an AFPR can help...

Depends on what you try to use it for...
The Adaptive will always try to bring you back to stoich.

I am tuning for E85 and E98 banking on the computer trying to reach a stoichiometric air/fuel ratio based on oxygen sensor (EGO) input.
