hey guys sorry for all the questions recently. once again I have a simple question that I should be able to see but can't. I know I probably need a new clutch but until then I need to find something to do to fix my problem. It doesn't seem like the clutch is disengageing fully because when I have the clutch completly to the floor and go to put it in any gear its a pain even if I press down hard on the clutch once its on the floor its still hard but makes it easier. so my questions are will adjusting the clutch fix this? how can I adjust the clutch and is this even a cable style clutch. my other mustang was easy just lift up and press down a couple times this one isn't like that.
thanks for all your previous help and any advice here.

I don't know. whatever I have came on the car and the guy knew nothing about cars. I'm going to try replacing the clutch cable. should I buy a new firewall adjuster or does that come with the clutch cables? should I also buy a new quadrant?

It is a cable clutch. And lifting up on the pedal is how to ratchet the adjustment if stock. If not, there should be a firewall adjuster or nut on the cable at the fork.

Look under your dash, above the gas pedal, to see if you have a stock (plastic) quadrant or a metal aftermarket one. Then go from there..........

I didn't get a chance to look and see the adjustor and its too dark to see now but this doesn't really make sense to me.. today I went to take off pritty hard in 2nd from a stop because I have 3.73s and the clutch slipped bad. It seems like my clutch isn't fully inguaging or dissenguaging. does this make sense to anyone? I'm not driving the car anymore until I fix this because now its really really hard to get it in gear. I just drove it straight home after that.

Your clutch itself might be toast. Issues with getting it into gear are on the other side of the spectrum from slipping (so both issues at once is often the clutch itself being worn).
