Whats the proper way to do this? I had a bad experience with my old headlights. lol

I know the inside if for outwards and inwards movement, and the top and bottom on the outside need to both be adjusted to get the right height.

But how high should they be?

I honestly always took the car/truck out to a dark straight road at night and set them up for best lighting.. then my highbeams have been useless since the lows were set so high....

I have HID's now, So I dont want to set them too high.

But I just got done setting them. The only thing I cant figure out is how to get the housing to move in. When I crank the stuff in it messes everything up and I cant get it lined up right. The drivers headlight sticks out like 1/2 and inch past the corner light.

I first swaped the old adjuster to new light, lined the head light with the corners I just need to fine tune them.

did you look at the haynes manual??
you need to adjust the most inner one first then adjuster the 2 outer ones.

You have to adjust the inner one before you put it in huh?

Man this is making me remember those projectors. You could not adjust ONE screw without taking the whole light off. They all had to be perfect.

thats why I Swaped the old head light Adjust they had the hex head on them and the ones that came with the smoked lights had the round ends so I couldn't adjust them on the car.
