Adjusting Your Headlights After Lowering Your Car... Is It Needed?

I duno thats the first time i have heard about adjusting your lights after lowering it, but its very simple you can use a flat head screwdriver and adjust the black lookalike screws behind the headlight covers.

normally if your car lowered straight you will not need adjustement...you will just light 1 1/2 lower but still foward :p

if your noticing a big change then just park in front a wall lest say at about 10 to 20 feet...the driver side shouls light straight and at the same high as the car...and the passenger side should light a bit to the right but at the same high :spot: :spot:

I didn't think there was any way to adjust the headlights on a 99+ stang. I've taken my headlights out a good three times or so to either replace a bulb or install the ultra clear headlights i bought. Or replace the ultra clear headlight that was getting moisture in it. All you do is pull the 2 tabs out and the whole headlight assembly comes out. Am i missing something.

There isn't really much you can do to adjust your lights. Which is a bummer because driving at night in the 'stang is horrid it just has a terrible field of view.

But no, you shouldn't have to worry about adjusting your lights. First time I've seen this kind of topic come up.

I adjusted mine. If you open the hood and look at the top of the head light housing you will see a phillips head type black plastic screw. Adjust accordingly.
