is there any reason to go to bigger injectors with very basic boltons? my car currently only has header back exhaust, sn95 MAF and bbk TB. hopefully next year ill step up to H/C/I.

i posted this in tuning but have not recieved any response.

You would really want to wait on the larger injectors until you do the H/C/I. The only need for larger injectors is to maintain the A/F ratio once you add modifications that change the amount of air entering the engine. The basic bolt-on mods you have mentioned don't change the air flow enough to need larger injectors. Once you do the H/C/I though you will definately need to step it up.

No...at this point you will be fine with the stock 19's. 19s will support up to 300 N/A horsepower. At this point you are probably only putting out about 240.

Bigger injectors will hurt your driveability, cold start performance, and idle. Larger injectors perform sloppy at low load/rpm and dont get great fuel atomization.

You really want your injectors to see about 80-90% duty cycle at WOT. If you are seeing less than that...like you would with a larger injector....you will most likely see a drop in performance, driveability, and mileage. Stick with the stockers right now.
