OK need to replace my seals, the vertical ones between the driver's door and quarter windows. I got new ones from LRS. There is the metal strip over them on the quarter window, I'm not sure how to disassemble this whole thing without bending or ruining anything. Any advice would be appreciated! THANKS!

It has been a few years since I've done this to mine.
The metal is permanently mounted to the glass and cannot be removed. It supplies the track for the rubber seals that you bought. Its a tough job but you need to remove the old rubber and slide the new rubber down in the metal track on the glass. There are left and right seals so don't get them mixed up. (Been there)

It's not easy because the new rubber is a tight fit. Slide it down until the little cap piece is seated on top of the track. I "lightly" lubricated the new seal with grease to get it to slide down in the track. Take your time, you'll figure it out.

Can you link the ones you bought?

I am ordering some and am confused on what they meant by the Door Seal vs Door to Body?

The gap between my Door windows and Quarters are bad.

I don't have a link but the seals that go between the door glass and vert quarter glass is this: Part number#LRS-30256PR.
$34.99

Go to www.latemodelrestoration.com and punch that number in the search box.
