Exhaust Advice/help On Full Exhaust Setup (ca Legal)

This is my first post on the forum so please be gentle lol...

Is anyone on here from California? I need some advice/help on replacing my exhaust system. I just purchased a 1999 V6 for cheap and I don't want to have to worry about passing the emissions test every 2 years but I still want some sound. Links would be SUPER helpful to specific products (model # and makes)

The car only has 2 cats and 2 Flowmaster 40s. The end pipes were deleted and stops at the flowmasters (before the axel).

1) With regards to the cats, what should I go with? I have a guy who is selling me his 4 GT cats for $100 with 50K miles. Can these work on a V6? These were the only CA legal ones I could find. https://www.ebay.com/itm/191778570966 Is there another alternative that might be cheaper?

2) Also, x-pipe or h-pipe? Which is cheaper and still legal? Can this work? https://www.ebay.com/itm/180575481913

3) Lastly, I eventually want to run pipes after the flowmasters so that it mimics a Cobra (I love this look compared to the over the axel look on GTs). Will this affect the emissions test?

I figured as much. Do you happen to know if the GT ones will work? $100 seems waaaaay better than $500 from the ca legal magnaflow cats off if ebay
