Advice Needed: Looking to buy a 1996 Conv

We are looking to buy a 1996 Conv GT or Cobra with a manual. I was wondering if there is anything we should be looking for as far as problems during an inspection. Found one with only 68K on it so far. We want to find a stock one and build it up into a nice sunday driver.
