Advice needed

I plan on doing a few exterior things to my car to bring it out a bit. I was going to get some blackout tint and do the heads and tails of the car, but I was reading a few things on Oregon state law and it is pretty vague on a few things. It does say that all vehicles are required to have RED taillights that can be visible from a minimum of 550 feet away. What I am not sure, is if the the actual housings need to be red too, or just the light output. I had planned on putting in some xenon bulbs to increase the light output by up to 3x and use the same wattage but I am worried that I will be a target for the police to pull me over and give me hell over it.

Are there any cops here or people who know on whether or not this would be legal? It will look extremely nice when I am done, but I don't want to drop the cash and then have to take them off since the tints are a tad on the spendy side for quality products. For the headlights, I have an 8000K HID kit coming soon so blacked out headlights will be easily visible at night and day but once again, the laws surrounding it is vague and I will also have to get some xenon bulbs for the amber turn signals up front just to be safe.

One last thing, I am looking for a good shop that does great window tinting for reasonable pricing in the Portland area. I want to be able to drop my car off and wait or come back the same day to pick my car up since it's my only form of transporation and can't leave it overnight.

try proimage for the tint i belive there num is {503}788-1119 there might be something out your way that one of the other members can tell you about casue proimage is over in vanc. and i dont know if they ofer moblie servie or anything like that.
