Believe it or not, its easier to use headers then manifolds when doing a 460 in a fox. I am still fighting with getting the right manifold and setup. Not even the local exhaust shops wanted to generate a pipe to mate to the manifold due to the clearance issues, so I decided to do it all myself. I bought some mandrel bent 2.5" Us and Js and went from there. First of all, you need to get the right manifold. The 3rd one I got seemed to be the right one, with Oval ports and pointing fairly in the right direction. Im sure there are others that may fit perfectly, but I was tired of spending money and guessing.
1st issue is getting to the bolts. The one I bought was a new repop I got from Ebay so it had new studs and everything. I had to cut the studs shorter so I would have room to get the flange and nut on. I also had to grind away some material from the bellhousing. I also had to cut an access hole in the firewall so I could get to the flange nut from the inside. It sucks, but it works. Putting the right bends in the pipe took some time, but I finally have a tacked together pipe that flows decent and is way better than the mangled crap the exhaust guy did for the drivers side. As soon as my internet is back up, Ill get some pics up.
So you know, just about anything will work on the drivers side since there is plenty of room. If your doing a stick, just make sure it clears the clutch linkage, or cable in this case. I had to get some thermal wrap and protect the clutch cable. I used a spark plug thermal sock and safety wired it tight. Passenger side is the pain, but with the right manifold and some patience its not too bad. I had to dent in the firewall and make an access panel like I stated earlier. As soon as I can I will post some pics since as ugly as this pipe is, it will work and it flows nicely. Im actually really upset because the previous manifold I had, worked great and the pipe I made looked pro and was a snap to make, but the manifold had a huge crack in it, so I had to source another one, but it had a different outlet so I had to start from scratch, again. So you know, I use a 5.0 X-pipe and cut the ends of and just had to fab from the manifold to the middle of the X-pipe. Let me know if you have any questions. Scot Rod

Here is the manifold I used on the pass. side and it works if you play with the firewall.
