Paint and Body Aero to 4 eye Front End Swap

Hey Guys, I am currently building a 1988 Foxbody Coupe. Had the aero front end but I decided I liked the 4 eye look a lot more. I know what main pieces I need, my only question is, what do I do about the front bumper cover molding not matching the rest? Do I just sand it/fill it in so that it is smooth? I know the alternative is getting a rear bumper and bumper cover and getting the molding that matches that period.

Any help would be appreciated!

Reason I am not just selling the car and buying a 85-86 4 eye is I sunk a lot of money in fuel system and engine that I cannot get back.

Hey all, ive finally fixed up my project car (1991 mustang LX, 2.3L of course) of over 2 years, and was wondering how to change the aero front-end to the 4 eye style, cheaply. Any help whatsoever will be great. Ive tried googling it and cant find any instructions on how to do it. thanks in advance

I’ve already read this thread, the link they posted doesn’t work. No one speaks on the molding. Then they just start bickering about the swap.
