aerostar drive shaft

I picked up the alum. drive shaft but my u-joints are diff. I cant put my ends on it any body know what u-joints I need thank you

Is it the right length?....Usually they need to be cut.

same lenght just different size u-joints

Really?......What year van and what year Mustang you have? The parts places should Know what ones you need. Please answer as I want to do same someday.

The guy at the junk yard said it was from a 93 aerostar AWD. I got a 89 GT T-5 trans and stock rearend housing

Thanks that is great to know as they are $200 at least and people say.....the prices are going up....you are positive the length is exact?.......like I said I have read others have had to pay $$$$ to cut them they say....not doubting but.....86-93 all have 8.8's
and unless these guys are talking autos.......I wonder.

I,m positive same lenght but the but the stock stang joint are longer makes me mad I just rebuilt my posi and put 4.10s in and cant drive it

You expected a direct bolt in from an Aerostar driveshaft? Keep dreaming If that was true, there wouldn't be so many people buying these Ford Racing driveshafts for a ridiculous amount.

no I didnt I was hopping somebody know the part # for the u-joints.

Man, they're only $159.00, that's cheap if you ask me. Ask the Camero boyz how much they're paying for driveshafts, that's riduculous.

i heard you need to put a different slip yoke on it or something. there was a thread on here where somebody did this and had the part number that you are looking for.
