Well, i removed the stock FPR and the O-ring was damaged. After fighting with the allen head screws, i finally got my Paxton AFPR on there snug, with a good O-ring and gasket.

Now when i prime the fuel pump, the system does not hold pressure for more than half a second and gas is being pushed out of the vacuum port.

What is wrong here? The AFPR is used, but according to the seller was not used for very long.

Thanks,

id say he took it off about the time he blew the internals out of it.

You got screwed. Is it rebuildable?

Not sure if it is rebuildable or not, i will have to do some research. There are 3 screws on the underside of the FPR, to take it apart i presume.

Not sure why he took it off, but i guess i know now! Good thing i only paid $25 for it.. the worst part is how much of a bitch those 3 allen head bolts are to get at without removing the fuel rail!

Feels awefully ****ty to find out that you've been ripped off, after you go through the trouble to install the damn thing.

Yeah that sucks man. Sounds like the diaphram went bad. It should be replaceable. I never had much luck with billet type regulators. I like the stock style adjustable regulators like Crane or Holley.

The easiest way to swap out the reg is to pull the upper intake. remove the 2 screws that hold the rail down and lift the rail up.

Fuel The fuel pump doesn't stop priming and I can hear a hissing noise on the lower intake area (passenger side).
