AFR or TW

Small valve Eddy RPM's ;)...oh that's right I'm biased. Save the money over the 165's...get the exhaust side of the Eddy's worked for the money you saved and outflow both the TW's and the 165's right to 6000. Just opinion :)

Really depends on what your future plans are for the car. I will say the nice thing about the TF is that they have large valves and dont require piston notching. They can also be ported later for more power and flow.

AFR's can be ported as well:nice:

Either of the heads mentioned will be a great addition to your stang.

If price is not option (as I try to keep bias out of it:)), the AFR 165's have been proven to outflow any head in it's class throughout the rpm range. Not by much though.

Like I said, they are all great heads!

i say TW's, with the very few cash saved over the AFR's. You can clean those TW's up and they are a very good head (not saying any other head out there isnt, just my opinion.)
EDIT: I sometimes usually find a brand new in box set of TW's in classifieds all around for a tad bit cheaper if you wanna check that out.

Both are great options. I opted for the TFS because for the price difference I can have them ported if I felt necessary and would outflow the AFR. Yes the AFRs could be ported but I would hate to grind away the beautiful CNC job that was done... which btw you already payed for.
