Hey guys I just got back from TX2K13 which, by the way, was AWESOME!! While I was there I was talking to a guy about his clean-ass 93 notch. While talking about his AFR heads he told me about problems with the rocker arm stud and that he had broken one because the rocker didn't screw all the way onto the stud. He said he had to upgrade to ARP rocker studs. He also showed me that he had the same rockers that I have and he suggested I check it when I get home. I checked it and this is what I found. I haven't built a motor or installed rockers in about 8 years or so but I THINK this is a problem...or do I have to wait until the heads are on the block with the pushrods in? You tell me.

They make new pistons every day, so why worry?

You absolutely need to wait until the heads are on and measure for pushrods. The pushrod length determines the valve train geometry and can be adjusted up or down for the proper roller tip placement.
Nice rockers BTW. I have the same ones on mine for the time being.

Engine Might have to get a Dart block but don't want to and if I do, then 363 instead of 331. Thoughts on what I've already bought so far.......
