I joined this forum about a year and a 1/2 ago when I got my first fox since 1989. I needed inspiration to do the car and I found that joining a message board is great for that. I havent posted in probably a year but I have focused my free time on this car. So this is what I started with:

It cost me 200 bucks and believe it was worse than it looked and it looked bad and smelled worse.
Nothing more lame than a 2.3 with GT trim.
I got rid of that and returned the LX trim. I also considered leaving the 2.3 in the bay but once i got it running I knew that 90 horses(maybe) still arent enough to move these cars. So away it went and replaced with a 5.0. Probably the best wheeling and dealing Ive done in a while and in the end I got a 5.0 for a 100 bucks...sold the Wiend intake that was on it for 125. and sold the 2.3 for $50.

Swapped!

Now as of yesterday this is what I have. Yay!

Not sure if I'm going ever run the tailpipes or not. I have turndowns on the 2.5 inch flowmaster exhaust Im sort of digging the hidden look. Still have to redo the rub strips in black and should be getting it registered this week.

I now am feeling my hard work paying off.

Thanks for reading.

thanks....i have always been a fan of 10 holes. Did the rub stips in black today and I am pleased with everything. My list of interior mods consist of black 94-04 seats if i can ever find em cheap enough and a screen in the dash.

i like the black trim much better... it looks great! a set of diamond clear headlights would really wake the look of the car up too in my opinion, but money doesn't grow on trees! take your time with it and it will all come together
