I checked the threads as much as possible, but could not find the answer. Do I really need to use an adjustable FPR? I did the cam, heads (afr 165), intake (ported explorer) swap with 24# injectors, 70mm TB and 73 mass air.
I am using a walpro 155 pump, which was used on some of the pickups and econoline vans. I have no idea what the PSI output of the pump is...
The reason I ask is that the FPR is leaking from the base ever so slightly, and I just want to button everything up.
If the factory FPR is set at 38 psi, and everything I see in the threads looks like 38 is the magical number; then what is the point, and is it worth the expense.
I will take eveyones advise here as you have not steered me wrong yet. Just wanted to put the question out there for clarification.
