My 88 GT is Lowered 1" 1/2 in the front and 1" in the rear. I had a bumpsteer problem before I lowered it and was wondering if I needed a bumpsteer kit or offset rackbushings or both. I planned on replacing the sway bar end links to. It seems that the bumpsteer issue didnt get worse but didnt get better after the lowering and new shocks. I also have new swaybar bushings. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Im just not sure if I need to buy all 3 things and need a little help.THX

Also Maximum Motorsport doesnt recommend offsets for a stock k member. Any input on this would help.

Just go with the bump steer kit - you don't need offset rack bushings.. and new end links can't hurt!

Vert did you have a problem with bumpsteer? because I will get the bushings if this helped. But was still wondering why Maximum Motorsport said that its not recommended unless you have a aftermarket k member.

my steering felt looks and sloppy before the bushings. i threw everything back together and took it down my street. went right back up on stands and i threw on those bushings and it tightened everything up. then i took it for an alignment and it's perfect. no bumpsteer that i can notice.

i bought the BBK ones from summit
