Any body have a after market Engine cover and a Strut tower brace. I am in the Market for both and was looking into clearances. Also much further down the road clearance for a supercharger. Dont want to spend money twice. Car is only a week and a doy old and already spending toooo much money on it.

No engine cover that fits the stock intake manifold is going to fit over a supercharger. Most strut tower braces don't fit with a supercharger, either. The S197 doesn't benefit from a strut tower brace as much as the previous body style Mustangs since this chassis is much more rigid.

Saleen is about the only supercharger that has a cover that resembles an intake cover. Now they have a "shaker charger" option for the supercharger as well.

The Eldebrock supercharger kit has a cover for everything under the hood, too.

STB has been quite beneficial on my vert for mild cowl shake. I run the FMS brace, same used on the bullit under the FMS name. Powercoated...fit like a glove, clears my intake cover by 3/4 inch or so....

Dman302, That is what I was looking for. Are those the aftermarket covers on your car. Looks really good. I was under the impression that these cars did benefit from a strut tower brace.

Sorry Kool but this isn't technically a Saleen. Steve Saleen is no longer with Saleen. If that makes any sense??? This car is from SMS which is his new company. Just an FYI if you didn't know.

I've found the STB to be effective in the vert for cowl shake on rough roads..not that these cars have much flex compared to my old 88GT or o4GT vert, but it does quiet it down even more. The covers are aftermarket..expensive but just GREAT quality and worth every penny. Available from American muscle/50 resto to name a few. Thanks for the kind words...I really am enjoying owning the car so far, the CS seems to get alot of attention...in a good way.

If someone wants the factory engine cover, I might be interested in getting rid of mine.

I'm looking for the matching rail covers but can't find them for sale separate but only with the plenum cover which I already have.

Try Midwest Auto Gear or Moss Mustang. They both have them.
Blue Oval Industries price on the brace is pretty good from what I have seen.

I don't think Ford made any fuel rail covers.
