aftermarket axles

YES.... if you plan on drag racing a good deal go ahead and do a set of 31 or 33 spline axles, diff and new bearings. I wish I had when I did my gears. If you do it all at once, 1. don't have to get back in there 2. if you up the power or run slicks less chance of axle breaking 3. Sounds cool to say you got 31 spline axles and diff 4. Odds are if you don't you will want to later on if you have the funds to do it now DO IT. 5. if you pay to have the work done no sense in paying 2 times for the work to be done.

Yes I agree, especially if you plan to run slicks, nothing like the sound of an axle cracking at a 3500 rpm launch...... Then the entire assembly of broken parts starts sliding out the side, and oil everywhere and parts ..... not fun.
Its only happend to me twice before i paid the extra $$$:D

is it a good idea/worth it to get new axles when buying gears..like 3.73's.. thanks alot guys
I wouldn't unless I was going to add a power adder or going to run slicks or drag radials at the track. In that case, I would get a set of Moser 31 spline axles and a built differential. Definitely go with 4.10's and get an aluminum drive shaft while you're at it.
