Aftermarket Bullitt Dash panel?

Does anyone know where I might get the same dash panel as in the Bullitt? I really like they way it looks and I would love to put it in my GT/CS.

i found a company that has engine turned material you can wrap your pieces in, but i believe the turns are larger than the bullitt pieces. i have not confirmed it 100% yet, i need t see a sample of both in person first.

as far as aftermarket replicas, i have not seen it yet.

No need for aftermarket. You can get it through any Ford supplier. Kevin Casey at Clevenger Ford sells it. I thought partscheap.com had it, but I'm not seeing it.

I was going to do this because I like the Bullitt dash so much, but the cost was unreasonable. I only know this from a post from a while back detailing the part numbers and how to accomplish it. Over $1000 if I recall. I suppose I might do it in the future if I were to keep my Mustang long term, but $1000+ can buy alot of other mods.

i have contacted the company that makes the material i mentioned above. lets see what they say. soon as i know, i will post the information here. if it is similar in size, this is a MUCH cheaper alternative to the OEM pieces.

I'm very interested to see the follow up on that product.

I wonder, is it a hard material which is formed and stick on? Or is it (more likely) a vinyl film (kind of like stripes material) which can be applied (very carefully) to each individual dash piece.

What's funny is that is a preproduction Bullitt. Look at the steering wheel, it is a GT piece, not the all black (and totally sweet) Bullitt wheel. I still wonder whether or not I should just stop modifying what I have and get a Bullitt. Most of my mods are similar to Bullit stuff already:

- CAI
- R&P gears (on the shelf waiting install)
- More agressive exhaust
- Bullitt grill
- Bullit shift knob and boot
- No rear wing
- A bit lowered
- plus I really like, but it's too costly: Bullitt seats, dash, vents, steering wheel, so on.
- I love the badges too, but it would be just gay to put Bullitt badges on a non Bullitt

The more I think about it, I should have saved just a bit more, bought a Bullitt, put NOS on it, and been totally done, no modifying.

Kevin Casey charges $540.91 for the Bullitt dash pieces, last time I looked.

the material is actual metal, very thin and flexible, with adhesive backing. the company has used the material (available in may finishes like copper, aluminum, stainless, etc) to transform the appearances of appliances, desks, picture frames, basically anything you can come up with.

$500 for OEM pieces is not bad. This option would still be considerably less than that, IF the pattern is of a similar size.

$500. is still WAY too rich for me. I am interested in hearing the $ for the product Bigcat is researching. Hopefully it's less than $100. I have other mods planned that I'd rather spend the big bucks on.

the product is about $14/sq. foot, unless you buy in quantities. should be well under $100 if you can use it conservatively.
