Aftermarket Cats???

Hey guys. I have a stock '03 GT (except for the CAI). I've been thinking about getting some aftermarket cats; either Bassani BX46995, or Flowmaster American Thunder. I've heard some people say that they would be too loud and obnoxious, while the guy at the exhaust shop said that since my car has 4 catalytic converters, that it wouldnt be. What I want to know is have any of you gotten any complaints about your aftermarket exhaust? Any trouble from cops?

get no cats.

im running o/r xpipe and 2 chamber flows. loud and sounds great. no problems with the fuzz either. PM me if you want me to send you a vid.

the only legal cats for your car in CA are the stock ones. if you got pulled over the fine would be the same for 2 high flows as it would be for no cats.

i chose the no cat option and just dont get on it around cops.

Oh, thanks. My car is actually registered in AZ now and the county that I'm in doesn't require a smog test. I'll be in LA for the summer though, could I still be fined?

as long as its registered in AZ you should be ok.
