Aftermarket Fan

Has anyone done any type of aftermarket fan ?

i had 2 slimline fans once.......one pushing and one pulling.......car ran fine like that......never overheated....only thing was it didn't look as good as the factory one does......

I ordered a Dodge Viper fan for a 1999-2002 viper. It's 3000 cfm on low and 4000 cfm on high. it a lot thinner than a Mark VIII, draws less power, 17 or 17.5" blades, and it's cheap. $204 at your dodge dealer or $150 from PDI. I haven't gotten mine yet but I seen it down at Norwalk FFW this summer and called Alfredo to have him set me one up with the controller and all the wiring prewired. With everything wired up and a toggle switch for manual operation it's $275. I had him just wire mine up so it comes on high all the time. I should have it hopefully next week and get some pictures.

The stock fan moves plenty of CFM. Just go to standalone controls for the fan and be done with it.

He may have been looking for something with more Aesthetic appeal. If so i would just get one of the twin flex-a-lites, you can get them in colors i think......metal shrouds etc.....but they're like 400$

i'm to the point of not trusting mine after the recall and all . and i would like a better looking one too ,i have mine coming onat 160 so it works fine but takes a long time to cool down after it has gotten about half way on the temp gauge.
