aftermarket front suspension ride height question

I am going to install an aftermarket front suspension in my '65:
either the Mustang II from Heidt's or the Martz Chassis complete front end.
I was wondering if anyone knew how to significantly lower the front end (around 2 inches) with these packages by mounting it in a different way.

I called heidts and they said that there would only be a 1/2 to 3/4 inch adjustability with coilovers.

if you go with a MII setup, there are drop spindles available.

rebuttal

evidently the drop spindles put it at stock height, that's what the heidt's guys said.

maybe this is different from another MII manufacturer?

You may have had an idiot when you called Heidt's...young 'parts counter' type of kid. That was my experience [on the phone] and I just didn't have much confidence in them. Talked to the guy at R&C Motorsports [can't remember his name at the moment' and he was much more knowledgable. Bought the kit, put drop spindles on mine, and it certainly is lower than stock.

I didn't find out about Martz until after I did that [and hacked up the rear end]...I appreciated his input. They claim that their setup has much better camber curves and such for road-course handling. I would have further discussions with him. May do so if I feel like doing the same mods to my 2+2.

has anyone here used the martz rear? I am planning on the mustang 2 front and maybe a martz rear. I am not worried about road course handling as I am more geared towards straightline (hence a four link not IRS). The m2 front end just has such great value, suspension, disc brake and power rack built into one package for a great price. But i haven't heard anything on the rear end nor ride heights, I am curious about this too. Matt and I seem to have similar plans.

I spent a lot of time crawling under the Year One car at the 40th Mustang show in Nashville last year. Full Martz front and rear. Very nice setup...would have preferred to do this on my 'vert, rather than all of the construction to re-frame the back and move the leafs. Martz allows a lot of tire. They claim that the rear end will work well for a road course, although a 4 link will likely have too much bind. I am on the pre-order list w/ EVM for the 3-link rear for my 2+2.

different mounting locations

could mounting the entire unit in a different way make the front end lower? i am just talking about the body...so the car appears lower in the front.
any ideas?
anyone?
