okay, its time to buy a hood, I'd like to go with cervini because I trust them but I am on a budget. Anyone found a decent fiberglass hood for less than 400. I will also consider pin on so long as I find some tasteful locking hood pins, which I have yet to find. Also what would be best with an LX hatch.....that has a GT spoiler????

4 inch cowl
2.5 cowl
cobra R

Any ideas, or better yet, pics?

I never see anyone recommend abc fiberglass. I bought my hood bumper and wing off of them like 5 years ago. They were about 1/2 the price of cervinis, and I didnt have to do any body work, didnt even need sanded before the paint
BUT... its possible I just got lucky as I have never heard any thing about them fron anybody else, never any doubt about cervinis quality tho

I'm in the market for a new hood too but the fiberglass cowl hoods are so expensive. Practically the same price as carbon fiber... 500 bucks including shipping can buy a lot of go fast goodies which is really hard for me to justify right now. I was possibly thinking of getting a harwood through summit. Anybody with any experience with harwood?

im not sure where they are, I remember shipping being pretty expensive tho, and I am in las vegas. I would recommend them based on my experience. They have ads all the time in muscle mustangs and fast fords(at least they used to). Sorry, i dont have a magazine right now and I also cant find there web page.

I have one and am very happy with it. The thread that Super302 is reffering to on the corral is about Cobra Auto Designs and Cincinatti Composites. No one has really been able to establish if Champion is the same. If they are, I guess I was lucky. Fit very nice. 340.00 or so shipped. arrived in 3 days. Finished underside liner, there were 2 minor surface imperfections but when I dropped it off at the body shop, they had no issues prepping it or negative comments about the qualtiy. For the money it was a great buy. Here is the link that Super302 was talking about
