I have a 3" cowl from Cobra Auto Designs, and no complaints. The gel coat didn't look as show quality as my Cervinis hood, but the paint stuck fine for the last two DD years and the fit was perfect- less than half the price of Cervinis and cheaper shipping. Haven't browsed the Corral thread, but I have no complaints. You have to look for the (few) imperfections, and I've seen many, many hoods that you have to look for the OK areas

i also have a champion fiberglass hood. fit greats, i just never got around to painting so i just took it off and put the stock hood back. i like the sleeker look now. but the quality was good for the price IMO.

HO Fibertrends I hear is one of the best also. I don't think you can go wrong with them. It's not a crap shoot like some of the other companies.

i bought thier cobra spoiler and rear bumper cover, aside from a few small casting lines on the bumper cover, the fit was damn good, cant speak more highly of them

although i have a sneaking suspicion they are related to cervinis. Same part numbers as cervinis molded into them, and they are located within 2 miles of each other in Jersey.

Not to mention thier reciepts look EXACTLY the same.

im thinking D.C. is the "factory seconds" store of cervinis, i.e., products not fully up to cervini's standards, but by no means junk.

Have you noticed the price of a Cervinis hood lately? $ 459.00 for a mustang hood!!! + shipping and handling. They have good stuff but they are not GOD!!

How about a Dugan Racing 3 inch cowl hood
does anyone have one? I live in Georgia so I would just drive up and pick it up to save the shipping. I just wish I could hear from someone who has one first before making the 130 mile ride to pick it up.

Cervinis out the door for CA is almost 600 bucks. Though they are one of the best, is there another option that will not kill my wallet that is reasonably priced for their product? Only a few months ago their hoods were 380ish which was a shock when I revisited their website recently.
