Was looking for 2 front replacement seats. The backs are in good shape. Im looking for something that looks tad bid more sporty, but they do NOT have to be "RACING" seats. I was looing for something that has the same saddle color, but possibly mixed with some black, like a two-tone. Talking to Paul, I have ruled out the Summit Seats. Anyone have any sites for something like I am describing?
Thanks

As far as comfort, I love my CR1s. It's going to be hard to match most aftermarket seats with saddle interior though...

Doesnt have to be a racing seat per se, even an after market "clone" would be fine for now...I just didnt want to have to change front AND rear...If I put something like that in the front, I have to change the rear and paint the tan interior.

Chris: My saddle "seat" is bigger than than that

A guy on here has a set of audi TT seats in his mustang and they look great. They are a sportier looking seat but look super comfy. The stitch/layout matches the backseat really well so its not like they stick out that they are not stock.

I am looking at getting some sparcos after the thread kller posted up a few weeks ago. I have always liked them but never really saw prices until that thread. Cobras (brand not car) are nice but not cheap.

If you ever come across them for a good price, let me know...it may be a few months before the purchase.

I personally do not like aftermarket seats. except company COBRA(NOT 03-04 seats) MISANO seats. they cost like $2k each...I am just dreaming.

Bullet seats and mach1 seats are the best looking seats i think. I have on guy local selling bullitt seats. He wants $700 for both. I can't afford it right now otherwise i would jump all over it...

Any info on which seats (no matter who makes them) are both direct bolt ins AND fit the stock harness? Summits, other year stang seats, etc?

Yes they have them.. They say these are "UNIVERSAL" seats though...Im assuming they will fit.

Paul (Killer Canary) says the backs on these are a bit high and may bump the roof when you flip them back. For $200 a seat I may just suck it up...they do look nice for the $$ and match nicely!
Thanks

The summit seats are not bad, the tan colored seats will not match the saddle color in our cars. They do set a little high if you put them on the factory brackets. Im in the process of buiding new brackets to lower them back down to factory height

Oddly enough I found this link at the bottom of the page as I was replying to.

If you get a chance, look around at this site and tell me what you think.

An all black seat looks great with saddle tan interior.

If you're looking at Corbeau seats, their sliders fit perfectly. You can also lose the complete stock slider/rail setup and save a ton of weight using both of their parts. I could not believe how much the stock stuff weighed. Don't know about a "perfect" fit with other brands of sliders and whatnot. I'd consider Bullitt seats, too, but wished I could use the beefier connecting parts like Corbeau has for their seats.
