OK guys i'm thinking about getting an aftermarket plenum and throttle body. Not sure wich one yet but before i do this are there any downfalls to these. Problems you guys have had with install or a problem that arose after the install. Obviously they are definetly worth power. but i don't want any problems or weird quirks either?

No problems at all.
I don't know if it was worth it yet, SOTP felt nothing.

Plenum and bigger TB are on my goody list for this year also. Hope it'll give me more than SOTP gains and get me closer to 400rwhp.

On my 01 GT, I put a 75 mm Accufab throttle body and a 75 mm Dragon plenum. The Dragon plenum produces a whistling noise so I replaced it with the 75 mm Accufab plenum. Now it works and sounds great. The car seems much quicker and responsive.

just pay attention to what you are doing on the install and be gentle with the TPS (black thing screwed on to the throttle body) and you should be fine. I have had no issues with my combo, just that the car revs up faster and I hear a lot more air sounds

I hear the accufab combo is best. You probably won't feel the power. My dragon whistles like mutha fugga. When it's cold out it's pretty loud. Sounds almost like a blower!! It gets old and annoying though, cause there is no blower power to accompany the sound!!!!

When I put on my X-Pipe I lost some low end power and could hardly spin second. When I put on my C&L Plenum I can really spin second now and bark third sometimes with a stock rearend. I really can tell a differnece with the new plenum.

Dittos on the Accufab - looks better than the others and with the C&L MAF and Trueflow tube I installed at the same time, I've been grinning since! Ck my pic of the engine in 99+ galleries.
