Aftermarket shifters questions?

I've had two pro50s...one on my T5 and now one on my Tremec. The feel is great, but the handle is a little short for most people. I've heard of a lot of guys getting the pro50 with a Tri-ax and being real happy with them. I've also heard that the MGW shifter is real nice.

I have a steeda tri-ax and being completely honest I would get a pro50 over it any day. My 2 friends with foxbodys, 1 has a pro50 the other has a hurst shifter. We lined all 3 cars up and I did a test. The pro50 just feels so good. It almost feels like the shifts are spring loaded and it just glides in. Granted all the shifters probably make a little noise, to give you an idea I think the steeda makes more noise and just feels too sluggish for my taste. +1 for pro50

I have driven both Pro 5.0 and Tri-Ax equipped cars. It really doesn't matter, IMO, which one you get. Both improve shifting tremendously. Currently, I'm runing a Tri-Ax and I've NEVER missied a gear yet. It's almost like half the shifting is done for you (with the grooves being notched out). 2nd to 3rd is awesome with it.

Next time around I will try the MGW. I've heard too many good things about it not to.

ive driven a stock and pro 5.0 shifter on a fox. i like the pro 5.0 a lot, but have nothing to compare it to. the only downside to the pro 5.0 is that it is a little tough to reach overdrive, but its not a big deal for me and im only 5'10". im doing the t-5 swap in my 94 in about a week and im getting the pro 5.0 used for real cheap, but when i get some cash to burn... im def gonna try the MGW, im obsessed with what ive heard about it.
