aftermarket transmission help

I want to get rid of my stock tranny (about 120,000 on it) and I'm looking at my options for aftermarket transmissions. Id love to do a t-56 but I don't wanna have to have the bellhousing modified, i'd rather just get an aftermarket tranny that is direct oem replacement. Money is an issue, as is with most sn95 owners.

My car will eventually have anywhere between 350 and 400 hp & tq so which tremec transmission should I look into? Are they direct replacement?

Also, which clutch do you guys recommend because I'm going to do that at the same time.

i would look into the geforce t-5. good things have been said about them. your next step is a TKO 500/600, but your power level doesn't really warrant that type of tranny IMO. as far as a clutch, maybe a king cobra clutch would work here for a good price.

tko is almost direct replacement. you do need a new bellhousing tho
