I purchased a Speed of Sound Dual pillar, and two autometer gauges for my 2004 GT. Well I installed the sender that came with the gauges and now my service engine light is on. Is there a way I can tap into the stock sender until I can get an SCT? Also with the new sender and the engine light on I have no cooling fan. Anyone with help would be appreciated. Also any one have a wiring diagram?

Where did you tap in for for the water temp?

I used the port on the bottom of the engine block next to a freeze out plug. I can't remember what side. I know there is a picture of it here on the boards. Searching for autometer install or something like it should do the trick.

I have an 01, so I don't know if your block changed, but I know that I was able to use the adapters that came with the temp gauge.

actually I just re-read your post and it sounds like you put the sender where your ECT sensor should be. Usually on top of the crossover tube. If so I would put that sensor back

All of the origional sensors are hooked back up, I just need to know where to install the stuff for the new gauge. I will do the search again and see if I can't find it.

What was the second gauge?

Did your fan come back on and SES light go off?
