Hi, I am actually from Explorer forums.
I have a 2000 Ford Explorer 4.0 SOHC. I am atempting to put in an Auto-Meter water temp guage.
I was wondering if any one here has put an aftermarket water temp guage in their 4.0.
Here is my problems.
1) There are two sensors, one for the ECM and one for the dummy guage. I am not sure which is which.
2) Obviously I dont want to pull the one from the ECM but I dont really want to have the dummy guage not functiong as well, not to mention the
" check gage " light.
Those of you who have added an after market guage, how did you do it ?

Thanks in advance for your help.
