I know this is a longshot, but I really would like to keep the outside as stock looking as possible. I was wondering if anyone knows of a company that makes a replica of the 99-01 Cobra rims in a 9-10.5 in. width. If not I will probably get some '03 replicas.

I never found any 99's beyond 8 inch. So I went with 10.5 AFS 03s and was also lucky to find a local guy with an 03 that sold me his 4 stocks wheels.

Not sure about 01 replicas or larger sizes.

03 Replicas

I went with the 03 replicas in chrome. Check AFS on eBay for your wheels. Mine are 18 x10.5's in the rear and 9" up front.

the only manufacturer may be

www.wheelreplicas.com

They now even make a Deep Dish FR500 .. Which I'm swapping out to on my 01.. The stock rim just got too old looking when Ford started reusing them on some 04's as an optional rim .. It goes the same for our hood that shows up on V6 Models too..

yeah i had the rims on my '04 GT. That isn't as bad as having the hood on the V6s tho. Guess it makes the '01 Cobras more sleeper-ish. =P

I'll probably get some '03 replicas if I go with 17s. What is the widest tires you can go with on the rears w/o rubbing on 17s? I was looking at the 315/35/17 550Rs. ATM the car has the Eibach Pro-Kit, which I know will make it easier to rub.

If I go with 18s I am looking at 285/35/18 550r DRs for rears.
