I think you forgot to say how old you are?

i was kinda avoiding that because of how young i am. i don't want to hear any comments on mommy and daddy buying the car, since i am making every payment, and bought every car i've had.

i'm 18, working around 43 hours a week as a manager at a store.

52. The purchase was a big deal for me (as with anyone else).
The twenty-somethings here are very blessed to have a car like the S197. In my twenties, I drove my parents' 67 Buick Special and 75 Regal. At 26, my mom helped me into an '82 Firebird with a 2.5 Vega engine and it took 16 seconds to hit 60 mph.

I had to check my ID card twice...that can't be right... 45

45??? No-one's that old, surely?

Still feels like I'm 17 inside my head (except on days when I act like a 10-year-old).

This is my first Mustang, but they've all been Fast-Fords apart from the very first one, a 1.6l Sierra a.k.a The Red Shed...

66. I've been driving American V8s since 1965, although this is my first Mustang.

Nice notch, quick.

I'm 25 and have owned my "pre-owned" Mustang nearly a year now.

Though, I may own a 2010 if the engine leaks are right

24 here. Got my first Mustang when I was 16 but was able to drive many Mustangs as a result of my brother going through so many of them lol. Out of the ones I've driven, I must say that the S197 is by far the most comfortable to drive. BUT, the Mustang that had the most balls was the 2004 Cobra my bro had. Car made 505hp to the wheels on just pullies, tune, and exhaust...that thing was a beast! I should post some pics of it when I get home lol

I'm 26, this is the second 'stang I've owned. The first was a '66 coupe I bought from my parents when I was 14. My parents just bought an '07 v-6 vert after driving my car and they are both 54 if you want to count them too.

I'm 57 but I've owned, wrenched on and driven Mustangs CONTINUOUSLY since I was a teenager! How many of you can say that?

BTW, after all the Mustangs I've had the pleasure to own, drive and work on; the S197 GT is the absolute best of them all

I can only say that I've owned and wrenched on Fords with Mustang engines continuously since I was a teenager and all we have now are Fords with V8 engines: 302 V8, 4.6L 2V V8, 5.4L 2V V8, 4.6L 3V V8. I just need a 4.6L 4V, 5.4L 4V, and 5.4L 3V V8 to complete the modular V8 collection.

Well I guess I fit the "older" trend. I'm the big 5.0 liter....50 here. My first new car was a V8 Mustang at 16 in high school. For those of you old enough to remember, that was the infamous Mustang II ! Man what a hot rod that was! This is my 8th one over the years and they have certainly gotten better!!
