I'd be curious to see a real comparison between two stock fox's, one with FIT, one with MM FLSFC's, and do some real testing.

Haha! If only that were true! All the different grades of bolts would be pointless, you could hammer nails with a sink pipe, and cars would never rust.
The point I'm trying to make is that not all steel is created equal, just like not all sub frame connectors are created equal. Same goes for control arms, k members, etc.

i do plan to make my own "fit system" down the road. ive installed enought old school kenny brown matrix braces i think i can make my own. with some 1x1 and some 3/4" tubing
I had a buddy with one of those KB systems on his car, and I always thought it looked over complicated and overkill. My car is pretty rigid, and it's a t-top with just standard length MM SFCs. I can't imagine that a solid roof car would need anything more than full-length or through-the-floor SFCs. Unless you're making 9-second power, but at that point you're likely running a bar or a cage, and the car is going to be rock solid anyway.
I dunno, I could be wrong.
biggest advantage i liked about it was the jacking rail.

installed my full length UPR's last night... huge huge huge difference on my car... lost a lot of the hatch noise on bad roads... car feels pretty stiff now!
hopefully i cant twist the car enough now to pop the hatch open
