My fiance calls me saying "my radiator light keeps flashing on my dash... why?
I told her to check her coolant level and she says " its about.... a little less than half way where its supposed to be"
"Well.... I think we have an answer" I said
She says " My dad has some, I'll just use his"
I ask her if her car takes the same coolant.
"does it matter?" she says

lol This is a girl who routinely forgets oil changes, never has her levels filled when i check, and refuses to pump her own gas. What a girl ... and I proposed to her lol

At least it's more erect and not floppy anymore.

I used to take care of all that stuff for her when she had an Alero. Then she wanted a new car and got a Honda and I warned her I only work on Ford, GM, and Chrysler cars. She didn't believe me.

Our Expedition has the towing package.
With that package comes an upgraded parking brake.
Of course when your wife leaves it on, it wears the discs and pads to the bone that much faster...

Gotta love them!

Everything else about her is workable, but refusing to pump her own gas? That is a serious red flag. If you want to live a long and HAPPY life, Dump her and get as far away from her as possible or she will and and until you beg for someone to end your misery. And you will be very miserable if you keep her in your life.

Hi all, i´ve been reading around the forum a while and since i had a situation like that with some friend just a while ago, I thought its time for a first reply. One of my wifes friends just bitched at me after I told her that there was no antifreeze left in the coolant reservoir of her little Renault. She said no way, and that when the "StoppEngine" light in the dash started blinking she bought some at a Gasstation and filled it up all the way.
The rest of it I found in her cars trunk. Antifreeze? yes, but for the windshield.... Luckly she found the right reservoir!

I blame her father for babying her and her mother. She's really not too bad past the whole "hand smelling like gas" thing.

had a similar situation w/ my sister a couple years ago. she had an 88 monte carlo that wouldn't start, turned out to be a cracked distributer cap, but anyways. when she called me I asked if the engine was turning over, she didn't know. So her roommate (another girl) turned it over as she watching under the hood to see if the fan was turning(because i told her to watch the fan) and she told me the "fan was moving but the belt wasn't." ??? My next comment was quite wasting the battery i'll be over. I hung up the phone and lmao!!

A woman can be driving down the road, and the hood could fly off, the engine could fly out, and they still wouldn't know anything is wrong until they come to a stop and can't go anymore.

The other day my girl told me her Honda had four cylinders. I was so happy I nearly cried. This is coming from the girl who runs into curbs when shes too focused on the muffin crumbs on her lap. She'll be the first to admit that most women shouldn't even have licenses.

I still love you Danica Patrick

There could be an explanation for this. She is from Jersey. I went to school in PA on the Jersey border, and naturally, lots of people at my school were from New Jersey. You wouldn't believe the number of girls (and even guys for that matter) that straight up did not know how to pump gas. I knew plenty of people that would drive to Jersey to get gas even though it would take about 15 minutes longer, minimum.

I had a Jaguar XJ-S back in the late 80's.
It had a Corvette motor in it.
Why?
The lady who was the previous owner just didn't think the oil pressure warning light was that important.

Well, some men too...

I was at a gas station filling up bicycle tires and next to me was a fellow with an AMG Mercedes Benz sedan. He was filling the radiator with water. I politely mentioned whether he considered putting antifreeze in there. His answer was "naah, no big deal."

At least he opened his hood and knew what hole to fill.
