AFR 165 heads, GT40 intake with exploder lower on 91 302. 1.72 rollers. Would a TFS Stage 2 cam have clearance issues?

That cam will not clear w/ stock pistons and your 1.72 rockers aren't helping any either. That cam is too big for that setup anyway. I would much rather see you w/ the stage one cam or and E cam

Trick Flow® Track Max® Hydraulic Roller Camshafts for Ford 5.0L, Camshafts - trickflow.com This should work much better. Remember, bigger is not always better.

Thanks man! yeah, i kinda thought it would be too big for the setup, but someone else recommended it. Been a loooong time since i done any cam homework, and most of what i used to know went the way of the empty cans for the beer that killed those cells.... haha

I think the tfs stage 2 is perfect for those heads(as long as you have 3.73 or higher gears), for relatively small heads (165) they flow very good, that cam will maximize the flow capabilities. But probably have to swap to 1.6 rockers

even w/ a 1.6 rocker, there is virtually no chance on that cam working w/ stock pistons, unless you get out the dremel to clearance them.
