Aiming head lights

I will be replacing some rusty head light buckets in my 64.5 coupe. The ones that allow for adjusting the headlights. Any tips on how the head lamps should be adjusted ? I haven't seen any of the old head lamp aiming devices in any of the shops around here for years.

I just had to do this and found a video on YouTube that went over the "proper" process. Basically, you locate and measure from the ground to the center of your light. Then, mark that measurement -2 inches on a wall. Back the car up 25 feet from said wall on level ground, and aim from there. the top of your light beam should stop at your measurement. Left to right is more or less the same - mark the center of the car on the wall, and aim a little to the right so as to not blind oncoming vehicles. I had to do this with my '15 Ram after replacing my headlight housings and there was no side to side adjustment, so I'd recommend searching YouTube for the aiming process for that reason alone.
