Air Bag light flashing ???

Just bought a car... never been wrecked and the air bag light is flashing. Could it be a sensor or something? Clean car fax, and no signs of paint work.

does it have an aftermarker head unit? maybe a wire loose in the column

It does have an aftermarket cd player...

Do what I did I put black tape over the air bag area inside of the cluster to were you cant see it

Or you can just pull the bulb

If you pull the bulb, you might just make the monitor beep.

I dont know what an aftermarket head unit has to do with the blinking light.

Retrieve the codes and fix the issue.

Me either. Wasn't sure what a aftermarket head unit would have anything to do with it. I'm going to check the code here soon.

I had a Code 12 in my 92, it was the Air Bag Diagnostic Monitor. Not too hard to change but its a little tight in their.

mine does the same thing, but i just got used to it. im not really counting on my airbag on saving me anyways, i mean my cars 18 years old almost.

Yep its the blue box behind the climate controls. You have to have one from a 92 or 93 only, I found one for about $60 from a junk yard from a car that was not hit in the front.
